IHCL Launches Gateway Goa, Palolem, Its 250th Operating Hotel
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Gateway Goa, Palolem. This hotel marks IHCL’s 250th operating property.
Leah Tata, Vice President & Brand Leader, Gateway Hotels & Resorts, IHCL, said, “The opening of Gateway Goa, Palolem marks one year of the brand’s journey, now with 36 hotels. Reimagined to serve as a gateway to the destination, Gateway hotels aim to offer experiences rooted in local culture and heritage. This addition expands our presence in the segment and in one of India’s key leisure destinations.”
Situated between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats, the hotel encourages guests to explore the natural surroundings of South Goa. The 160-key hotel provides views of Rajbagh, Patnem, and Colomb beaches.
Dining options include Trophé, which offers cocktails in a tropical setting, and 74 NE, Canacona’s rooftop bistro serving herb-based grills and international cuisine with 180° views. The hotel also includes a spa, gym, and a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. Event spaces are available for various gatherings and occasions.

The hotel also offers local experiences such as feni-making, kayaking, and turtle spotting.

With this addition, IHCL now has 19 hotels in Goa, including 5 currently under development.
