APPOINTMENT

Fortune Hotels, an ITC hotel group member, has appointed Samarth Agarwal as the Head of Development. With over 20 years of extensive experience in hospitality business development, investments, and consulting, Agarwal is set to lead Fortune Hotels into its next growth phase.

He has experience in equity research, specializing in the gaming and lodging industry in the USA. He then transitioned to hotel and real estate consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, providing strategic advice to leading hotel companies, owners, and developers. Following this, Agarwal joined InterGlobe Hotels, a joint venture between Accor Hotels and InterGlobe Enterprises, where he worked on the buy-side of hotel investment. In his recent role, he led the Asset Light (management contracts) growth strategy for Lemon Tree Hotels across India. He successfully executed over 50 contracts within three years, demonstrating his ability to drive rapid and sustainable growth.

In his new role as Head of Development at Fortune Park Hotels Limited, Agarwal will be instrumental in expanding the network of Fortune-branded hotels across India. Based in Gurgaon, he will oversee strategic growth initiatives, forge key partnerships, and lead new developments.
