Emirates deploys Airbus A350 with Premium Economy on Montréal–Dubai route
Emirates has announced the deployment of its Airbus A350 aircraft on flights between Dubai and Montréal, introducing the airline’s Premium Economy cabin on the route. The move marks the entry of Emirates’ newest aircraft type into its Canadian operations and provides customers with an additional cabin option on long-haul services.
Montréal has become the first destination in Emirates’ Americas network to be served by the Airbus A350. The aircraft replaces the Boeing 777 on the route and operates daily flights EK243 and EK244.
EK243 departs Dubai at 02:45 hrs and arrives in Montréal at 07:35 hrs. EK244 departs Montréal at 10:40 hrs and arrives in Dubai at 08:00 hrs the following day (all times local).
The Airbus A350 complements Emirates’ existing fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft, which operate across the Americas. Toronto, Emirates’ other Canadian gateway, continues to be served daily by the Airbus A380.
The Emirates A350 features updated cabin interiors with higher ceilings and wider aisles. The aircraft is equipped with modern cabin technology and the airline’s in-flight entertainment system, providing passengers with an enhanced onboard experience.
Premium Economy Class on the A350 includes reclining leather seats with leg and foot support, adjustable headrests, charging ports, side tables, and a 13.3-inch personal screen. Dining services feature a dedicated Premium Economy menu, and passengers have access to more than 6,500 entertainment channels in up to 50 languages, including French.

The aircraft is configured with a three-class layout: 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 layout, and 238 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.
Business Class cabins feature lie-flat leather seats, personal storage, and large high-definition screens. Passengers in premium cabins are offered amenity kits, a selection of meals, and a range of beverages, with vegetarian and vegan options available across all classes.
Economy Class seats on the A350 offer a pitch of 31–32 inches, a seat width of 18.4 inches, and a 13.3-inch screen at each seat. The aircraft also offers upgraded lighting, quieter cabins, wider aisles, and enhanced connectivity, including faster Wi-Fi.
Through its codeshare partnership with Air Canada, Emirates customers can connect to 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States via Montréal and Toronto.
Tickets are available through emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, Emirates retail stores, contact centres, and travel agents.
