Emblems Collection Expands in Italy with Three Distinctive Properties Set to Open in 2026
Emblems Collection, part of the Accor group, has announced the signing of three new properties in Italy, marking a significant step in the brand’s expansion across the country. Scheduled to open in 2026, the hotels in Tuscany, Umbria, and Apulia embody the Emblems vision—where luxury mingles with intimacy through thoughtful design, local character, and a strong sense of place.
A Strategic Collaboration with AG Group
This expansion is the result of a long-term partnership with AG Group, founded by Andrea Girolami. With a presence across travel, hospitality consulting, hotel operations, and dining, AG Group has contributed to the evolution of Italy’s modern hospitality landscape.

The collaboration with Accor and the Emblems brand reflects a shared intent to create travel experiences that draw from local heritage while maintaining a consistent level of service and quality. Each hotel will be shaped to reflect the culture, history, and landscape of its surroundings.
New Openings in 2026: Tuscany, Umbria, Apulia
- Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, Emblems Collection – Siena, Tuscany
Located near Piazza del Campo, this 38-room hotel is set to open in mid-2026. Housed in a restored noble residence, the property will feature original frescoes, hidden gardens, and design elements inspired by traditional Tuscan craftsmanship. A spa and tranquil interiors will offer guests a stay rooted in Siena’s historic charm. - Relais San Clemente, Emblems Collection – Umbria
This 51-room estate near Perugia includes nine private villas and sits within a 40-hectare park. The former Benedictine convent is centred around a consecrated chapel, with architecture and experiences reflecting the area’s spiritual and natural heritage. The opening is expected in mid-2026. - Masseria Furnirussi, Emblems Collection – Apulia
Surrounded by Europe’s largest fig orchard, this Masseria offers 60 suites, most with private pools, as well as a full spa. The design reinterprets Salento’s traditional architecture using local white stone and Mediterranean elements. The setting blends nature, simplicity, and design.
Looking Ahead

These signings expand the Emblems Collection portfolio in Italy to four properties and increase the global pipeline to seven confirmed destinations. Additional hotels are planned in Greece, the UK, Canada, and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
Each property is selected for its ability to offer a unique experience rooted in authenticity, reinforcing Emblems Collection’s approach to boutique-style luxury grounded in culture, design, and locality.
