Delta Premieres ‘A Century of Flight’ Documentary in Atlanta
Thousands of Delta employees, partners, and community members gathered at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta for the premiere of the airline’s centennial documentary, ‘A Century of Flight’. Produced and directed by Academy Award nominee Joshua Seftel of Smartypants Pictures, the 45-minute film chronicles Delta’s journey from its origins as a crop-dusting company to its development into a major global airline.
The story is shared through the voices of Delta employees at all levels, including past and present CEOs Ed Bastian, Gerald “Jerry” Grinstein, and Richard Anderson.
“The story told in this film belongs to every Delta employee as well as the millions of customers who have been part of our 100-year journey,” said Bastian.
“It’s a story of resilience, courage, and the drive to keep climbing.”
The premiere at Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre featured Delta brand ambassadors, themed snacks, and a moderated discussion after the screening with Bastian and Seftel, led by journalist Brooke Baldwin.
The documentary, two years in production, will be available on Delta’s In-Flight Entertainment starting November 1, along with a special feature of the post-screening discussion.
