APPOINTMENT
Novotel Hyderabad Airport has announced the appointment of Sushil Kumar as its Director of Engineering.

He brings over 13 years of experience having worked across multiple hotel brands in India. In his new role, Sushil will be responsible for overseeing property maintenance at the hotel, including infrastructure, utilities, and essential systems.
His key responsibilities will include managing preventive maintenance programmes, safety systems, statutory compliance, and energy and resource management initiatives. He will also be involved in planning and executing renovation and upgrade projects to support operational requirements and guest experience.

Prior to joining Novotel Hyderabad Airport, Kumar has held engineering roles at hospitality brands including Hilton and IHCL (Taj Hotels). His professional experience includes handling renovation projects, utility upgrades, HVAC and electrical systems, fire and life safety, energy management, CAPEX planning, and project execution.

My focus will be on strengthening engineering systems, driving safety and sustainability, and supporting the hotel’s growth through efficient and future-forward infrastructure management.
