Delta Opens New Sky Club at Salt Lake City International Airport
Delta Air Lines has opened its newest Delta Sky Club in Concourse B at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Spanning nearly 34,000 square feet, the lounge can accommodate up to 600 guests and is designed to reflect Utah’s natural landscape through its materials and layout. This new Sky Club highlights Delta’s continued investment in Salt Lake City as a key hub within its network.
The nature-inspired lounge offers panoramic views of the airfield and a variety of amenities for both business and leisure travelers. It includes a wraparound premium bar, nine soundproof phone booths, and an extensive food buffet featuring fresh, locally inspired dishes. Additionally, there are two beverage stations providing coffee, tea, soft drinks, and a unique “Dirty Soda” bar exclusive to this location.
“Salt Lake City remains an important hub for Delta, and this new Sky Club reflects our focus on enhancing the customer experience,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience.
“The design and layout were informed by guest feedback to create a comfortable and practical space for travellers.”
The design elements reflect Utah’s landscapes, featuring a geometric ceiling and terrazzo flooring inspired by winter light on snow. Warm wood tones, copper accents, and jewel-colored details evoke the state’s mountains and lakes. Local artwork and commissioned pieces highlight the natural textures and colors of Utah. Additionally, the Club showcases Delta’s first Digital Immersion wall, offering panoramic views of regional landmarks and natural soundscapes that create a calming atmosphere.
The new Sky Club is part of Delta’s ongoing investment in the “New SLC” redevelopment program, which includes ten additional gates and an expanded Concourse B. These upgrades aim to enhance operational efficiency, passenger flow, and the overall travel experience.
Delta is enhancing connectivity from Salt Lake City by offering up to 255 peak-day departures to nearly 100 destinations worldwide. Recent additions to their service include nonstop flights to Seoul, South Korea, and an upcoming route to Lima, Peru. This marks Delta’s first service from Salt Lake City to South America.

Delta has formed partnerships with several local organizations, such as the Utah Food Bank, the YMCA of Northern Utah, and the American Red Cross. Furthermore, the airline serves as the Official Airline and Community Partner for both the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth. In Utah, Delta employs over 4,800 people.
