Conrad Hamburg Opens, Marking Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ Entry into Germany
Hilton has announced the opening of the Conrad Hamburg, marking the brand’s debut in Germany. The hotel is situated within the historic Levantehaus, an Art Nouveau building designed by architects Franz Bach and Carl Bensel in 1912. It seamlessly combines contemporary design with the building’s cultural heritage.
Conrad Hamburg features 283 guest rooms and suites, including 28 studios with kitchenettes and 29 suites. The Presidential Suite spans 232 square metres and offers a private balcony, fireplace, and modern amenities. Interior design draws inspiration from Hamburg’s maritime and industrial heritage, with deep blues, warm greys, dark reds and copper tones.
The hotel showcases curated works from German contemporary artists, including installations such as Ada Isensee’s coloured leaded glass ceiling, which is visible from all floors.
Facilities include a 1,000-square-metre spa and fitness area, scheduled to open soon, with a fitness centre, pool, sauna, steam bath and wellness services. For meetings and events, the hotel provides an executive lounge and nine adaptable venues ranging from 43 to 228 square metres, accommodating up to 220 guests.
Conrad Hamburg’s restaurant, GRETA OTO, offers Latin American cuisine and can seat 110 guests indoors with an additional 48 on the courtyard terrace. La Mesa provides private dining for up to 12 guests, while GRETA OTO Bar and an adjacent cigar lounge offer additional social spaces.
Located in Hamburg’s Kunstmeile (Art Mile), the hotel is within walking distance of the City Hall, Alster lakes and HafenCity district. It is well-connected to Hamburg Central Station and the airport.
Conrad Hamburg participates in Hilton Honors, Hilton’s guest loyalty program. Hilton Honors members booking directly receive benefits such as flexible payment options, exclusive discounts and digital room access. Rates start at €300 per night for two guests, or €250 per night for Hilton Honors members.
