APPOINTMENT
Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru, have announced the appointment of Ashish Kumar as the new Executive Sous Chef.

Ashish brings over 15 years of culinary experience, having worked across international hotel chains.
In his new role, he will elevate the culinary offerings and operational excellence at both the properties.
Ashish has held key leadership roles globally across the UAE and India. Most recently, he served as Head Chef at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC in Abu Dhabi, overseeing costing, plating, and menu innovation across three outlets. Before that, he was Chef de Cuisine at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi.
His career began with foundational roles at Marriott International and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where he developed expertise in Mediterranean and continental cuisines and developed skills in kitchen hygiene, food quality, and team management.
He has also held key positions at Hilton and several independent restaurants in both India and the UAE.
