New Area Controller & Head of Finance Appointed at ITC Maratha

ITC Hotels Ltd has announced the appointment of Siddhartha Banerjee as the Area Controller (West) and Head of Finance at ITC Maratha.

Siddhartha brings extensive experience of over 12 years in the hospitality and services sector. In his new role as Area Controller and Finance Head, he will oversee accounts, budget the hotel operations, new projects, taxation, and other aspects of the ITC owned hotels in the western region.

With expertise in financial management, consolidation of financial statements, budgeting, management accountancy, general administration, project management, Siddhartha has taken over different roles in ITC Hotels, including ITC Maratha and Grand Central, Mumbai, ITC Mughal in Agra, ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata and ITC Green Centre in Gurgaon.

During his tenures, Siddhartha oversaw purchase, information technology and accountancy.

Commenting on his appointment as Finance Head & Area Controller, he said, “Mumbai is an interesting and highly competitive market in the hospitality segment with presence of some of the key players. Being market dominated and driven by entrepreneurial consumers who seek value, managing the hotel’s financial operations would be a challenge I look forward to taking on and help to take the financial returns to a higher level for ITC Hotels Ltd in the Western Region.”
