Air India Launches Non-Stop Bengaluru to London Flights

Air India has announced the introduction of a new nonstop flight service between Bengaluru and London Gatwick Airport, commencing on August 18, 2024. This strategic expansion will elevate Bengaluru to the fifth Indian city directly connected to the UK’s second-largest airport, following Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, and Kochi. The airline is scheduled to operate these flights five times a week, bolstering its foothold in the UK market.

The flights will use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

The flights are slated to utilize the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, renowned for providing 18 flat beds in Business class and 238 comfortable seats in Economy class, ensuring a superior travel experience for passengers. Moreover, in addition to this new route, the airline currently offers 31 weekly flights to London Heathrow and six weekly flights to Birmingham, further solidifying its presence in the UK market.
