Air India Partners With MedAire For In-Flight Healthcare

Air India, one of the leading airlines in India, announced a partnership with MedAire, an aviation medical support provider. The partnership aims to handle healthcare emergencies in the air with utmost care and high-quality services. This makes Air India the first Indian airline to “integrate MedAire’s advanced medical assistance across its entire fleet,” Air India stated in a press release.

The Service

MedAire will provide the airline with its app Medlink, which will have 24/7 access to a team of on-duty professionals who can be consulted in case of any in-flight health emergency. The professional team will assess the situation and guide the flight team on the necessary action that needs to be taken.
