Aimbridge Hospitality Appoints Javier Sanchez as Vice President – Business Development

Aimbridge Hospitality has appointed Javier Sanchez as Vice President of Business Development – Caribbean and All-Inclusive.

In his new role, Javier Sanchez will work with hotel owners, developers, and investors to evaluate development and conversion opportunities across the Caribbean and the all-inclusive segment. He will report to Patricio del Portillo and collaborate with operations, commercial, and brand teams to support development initiatives aligned with owner objectives.

He brings over 20 years of experience across hospitality and real estate, with a focus on partnerships and asset-light growth strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Hotel Development (CALA) at Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos, where he was involved in expansion initiatives across the region.

His experience includes working on franchise, licensing, and development agreements across multiple markets in the Caribbean and Latin America.

The appointment comes as Aimbridge Hospitality continues to expand its presence in leisure hospitality markets, including the growing all-inclusive segment.

Javier possesses the skills and relationships to generate new business opportunities and help us reach new heights.”

“Aimbridge Hospitality has built a differentiated offering in the region grounded in operational rigor and owner alignment,” said Sanchez. “I’m excited to work alongside owners who see the opportunity in this category and are looking for a partner that understands the intricacies of the model and how to unlock added value for owners and guests alike.”
