Mews, the hospitality operating system used by more than 15,000 properties worldwide, has introduced three new financial features designed to help hotels capture more revenue throughout the guest journey. The latest innovations include Recurring Payments, Multicurrency expansion to the United States and Canada, and Accounts Receivable, enabling hotels to improve cash flow before arrival, during the stay and after checkout.

Mews Simplifies Payments Before Guest Arrival

With Recurring Payments, Mews enables hotels offering long stays, memberships and co-working spaces to automate scheduled payments without manual intervention. Hotels can configure payment plans once, allowing the system to automatically collect payments on time.

The feature has already been adopted by more than 100 properties, generating over 16,000 payment plans. Early users have reported significant time savings and improved payment collection, reducing administrative work while enhancing the guest experience.

Mews Creates New Revenue Opportunities During the Stay

The company has expanded its Multicurrency feature to hotels in the United States and Canada for online payments after its successful rollout across Europe.

The feature allows international guests to pay in their home currency while enabling hotels to earn a share of the currency conversion fee instead of losing it to financial institutions. Since launching in Europe, nearly 5,000 hotels have generated more than €1.55 million in additional revenue through Multicurrency.

Many hotels have already offset a portion of their Mews subscription costs using the additional revenue generated through international guest payments.

Mews Accelerates Invoice Collection After Checkout

To improve post-stay revenue management, Mews has launched Accounts Receivable, helping hotels automate invoice generation, payment reminders, collections and reconciliation.

The platform provides finance teams with real-time visibility into outstanding invoices while reducing delays in payment collection. According to the company, many hotels currently wait seven to eight days after checkout before issuing invoices, slowing cash flow.

The new feature is initially available in Euro currency markets, with additional currencies planned as part of a phased rollout in 2027.
