Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai Welcomes Guests in South Shanghai

IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai, adding a new property to its Lifestyle & Luxury portfolio. Opened on 30 June 2026, the hotel is located in Fengxian, South Shanghai, surrounded by woodlands and green spaces. It is the second Kimpton hotel in Shanghai.

The hotel features 229 guestrooms and suites, including courtyard pool rooms, family accommodation and pet-friendly rooms. Guests can choose from three food and beverage venues: SOLA & LUNA, SONG, and ECHO, alongside meeting and event facilities with access to outdoor lawns.

Wellness and Leisure Facilities

The hotel’s EverNine Spa & Wellness includes treatment rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor plunge pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and wellness spaces. Additional facilities include a children’s club and a pet park, catering to families and guests travelling with pets.

Design Inspired by Nature

Designed to reflect the landscapes of southern Shanghai, the property combines contemporary architecture with natural surroundings. The low-rise resort-style layout creates open spaces where indoor and outdoor areas connect through landscaped gardens, natural light and green surroundings.

Dining and Event Spaces

The hotel’s dining venues offer a range of cuisines and social spaces.

• SOLA & LUNA serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes alongside an all-day dining menu.
• SONG specialises in Jiangsu-Zhejiang cuisine and features 11 private dining rooms for family gatherings and business events.
• ECHO is a cocktail bar offering handcrafted drinks and light bites in a relaxed setting.

For meetings and events, the hotel provides more than 2,150 square metres of flexible event space. Facilities include the 1,200-square-metre Bloom Ballroom, outdoor lawns for weddings and events, and four multifunction meeting rooms.
