Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts Appoints Akshat Mathur as General Manager – Treetop by Eight Continents, Jim Corbett

Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has appointed Akshat Mathur as General Manager of Treetop by Eight Continents, Jim Corbett. In this role, he will oversee overall operations and commercial performance of the resort.

Akshat brings over 21 years of experience in the hospitality sector, with exposure to luxury hotels, boutique properties, and branded hospitality environments. His experience includes hotel operations, revenue management, food and beverage operations, and team leadership.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Assistant General Manager at The Johri, Jaipur. He has also worked with organisations including Lemon Tree Hotels, Mahima Real Estate, Vesta Hotels & Resorts, and The Fern.

During his career, he has managed hotel operations, led cross-functional teams, and been involved in revenue planning and service delivery across properties.

In his current role, he will be responsible for overseeing operations, supporting service standards, and managing business performance at the resort.
