APPOINTMENT
Fairmont Udaipur Palace has announced the appointment of Siddhartha Mehendale as its new Director of Finance.
Siddhartha brings over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and international markets. He has been a part of renowned properties across India, Bahrain, the Maldives, and Qatar. He holds extensive expertise in pre-opening financial structuring, CAPEX planning, audit management, contract renegotiations, and implementation of global internal control systems.
Siddhartha’s earlier assignments included senior leadership roles within Accor hotels, including Novotel and ibis Bengaluru, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, and ibis Pune.
Most recently, he served as Director of Finance at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences. In that role, Siddhartha was responsible for developing long term strategies, revenue optimization initiatives, and team mentoring.
In his new role at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, Siddhartha will oversee financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, procurement oversight, compliance management, resource optimization, and ensuring disciplined financial governance.
