Emirates and Air Peace Activate Interline Agreement to Expand Africa–UAE–UK Connectivity
Building on their existing partnership, Emirates and Air Peace have activated a bilateral interline agreement to expand air connectivity between Africa, the UAE, and London.
The agreement allows passengers of both airlines to travel on a single ticket with through-checked baggage on select routes, supporting smoother connections and a more convenient travel experience.
In addition to the 13 cities in Nigeria already available to Emirates passengers through Air Peace’s network, the enhanced agreement now enables onward connections to Banjul in The Gambia and Dakar in Senegal via Abidjan, as well as Freetown in Sierra Leone and Monrovia in Liberia via Accra. These additional points improve access to Emirates’ global network for travellers across West Africa.
Under the agreement, Air Peace connects its West and Central African routes with Emirates’ hub in Dubai, and with destinations including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Abidjan, Accra, and Lagos. The partnership addresses sustained demand for travel between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, offering passengers more routing options and scheduling flexibility.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, said the expanded interline partnership supports broader connectivity across Africa, strengthens tourism and trade links through Lagos, and reinforces collaboration with Nigerian aviation partners.
Nowel Ngala, Chief Commercial Officer at Air Peace, said the agreement aligns with the airline’s strategy to improve Africa’s access to global markets by combining its regional network with Emirates’ international reach, delivering more seamless travel options for passengers.
Emirates operates a Boeing 777-300ER on the Dubai–Lagos route, offering multiple cabin classes, onboard dining options, and a wide range of in-flight entertainment, including African content. The airline is among the carriers offering First Class service to Nigeria.
Air Peace operates a fleet of more than 50 aircraft, including Boeing 777s, Boeing 737s, and Embraer aircraft, serving domestic, regional, and international routes. The airline continues to focus on strengthening intra-African connectivity and supporting trade and tourism across the continent.

Current Air Peace destinations available to Emirates passengers via Lagos include: Asaba, Abuja, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Warri, and Uyo.
