Thailand's Tourism Boom: Thai'd Up This Summer Campaign, What You Need to  Know - Travel And Tour World

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced the Amazing Grand Privilege in the Amazing Summer Family Month campaign under the theme Thai’d Up This Summer. Aimed at boosting family and youth travel during the green season, the campaign promotes visits to lesser-known destinations and encourages deeper engagement with Thailand’s local culture.

“This campaign reflects our goal of enhancing tourism through inclusive and creative experiences. Thai’d Up This Summer invites families and young travellers to discover the charm of Thailand’s hidden spots through personalised journeys.”

Part of the broader Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, the campaign has two main components: a youth travel experience and a privileges programme for visiting families.

At its core is the Your Dream of Thailand Academy, a youth initiative inviting Europeans aged 18–25 to enter an online contest to win a 10-day cultural trip through Thailand. Four winners, each with a companion, will participate in a Summer Camp-style journey focused on cultural immersion, community-based travel, and natural exploration.

Throughout the trip, winners will share their experiences on social media, aiming to present Thailand from a fresh perspective. Entries are accepted via AXN Asia’s social media platforms until 12 August 2025, with winners announced on 15 August.

In parallel, the Amazing Grand Privileges for Family Tourists programme offers various benefits to international families visiting Thailand from August to September 2025. In partnership with brands across retail, transport, hospitality, and entertainment, the initiative delivers a wide range of savings and rewards.

Highlights include:

  • Retail Discounts: Special offers and VAT refund access at The Mall Group’s stores (Emporium, EmQuartier, Emsphere) and up to 80% savings at Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, and Siam Discovery through the ONESIAM GLOBAL Visitor Card.

  • Transport Perks: Discounted airport transfers via AVIS and exclusive rewards through the Grab Thailand Travel Pass, redeemable on GrabCar Premium, GrabFood, GrabMart, and airport rides.

  • Family Activities: At HarborLand Play Centres nationwide, families will receive a free gift with the purchase of one adult and one child ticket.

The campaign promotes Thailand’s efforts to create meaningful travel experiences for visitors of all ages.
