Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 Launches with Expanded Travel Rewards for International Visitors

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, together with public and private partners, has launched the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign. The initiative offers international visitors exclusive discounts, special privileges, and souvenirs, supporting Thailand’s year-end travel season and the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy.

The launch was presided over by Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, alongside Mr. Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand, and Mrs. Paninee Chaisrakeo, Vice President Landside Operations, Suvarnabhumi Airport. International travelers and influencers also attended to share their experiences exploring Thailand.

Running from November to December 2025, the Passport campaign builds on the previous edition and aligns with the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. It is structured around the concept of 5 Grands – Grand Moment, Grand Privilege, Grand Invitation, Grand Festivity, and Grand Celebration – promoting travel products linked to the 5 Must Do experiences: Thai cuisine, Muay Thai, Thai fashion and textiles, new destinations and stories, and cultural performances and festivals.

This year, two key activities have been introduced:

  1. A nationwide sales promotion offering discounts and privileges from over 300 hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators, aimed at stimulating travel spending.

  2. The “Amazing Bag” lucky gift initiative, featuring community-made souvenirs and a chance to win travel vouchers worth over 1,000,000 Baht, inspired by the 5 Must Do experiences.

Visitors can collect an Amazing Bag at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket International Airports from 1 November to 15 December 2025. The program, supported by Airports of Thailand (AOT), includes dedicated spaces at the airports to distribute souvenirs and enhance the visitor experience.

Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, said “TAT continues to accelerate tourism promotion measures in line with the government’s priorities. The Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign is part of our efforts to stimulate travel and spending among international visitors, ensuring that the tourism sector’s recovery stays on track towards the set targets, particularly in the final quarter of 2025, which marks Thailand’s high travel season.”

Mr. Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand, said the Passport Privileges campaign has gained strong nationwide support, with tourism operators joining to offer special discounts and privileges. “This reflects the industry’s unity in promoting Thai hospitality and showcasing local products and services to the world,” he said.

TAT projects that the Passport Priviledges campaign could generate at least 400 million Baht in tourism revenue, contributing to the broader tourism economy, income distribution, and Thailand’s image as a regional tourism hub.

In line with the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is implementing targeted promotions in priority markets including China, Japan, South Korea, India, and the Middle East, aiming to welcome 2–3 million Chinese visitors by year-end. Preparations are also coordinated nationwide to ensure seamless travel experiences during the high season and in conjunction with the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025.
