Sofitel Ambassador Seoul has been added to Virtuoso’s portfolio of travel partners, which includes over 2,500 suppliers across 100 countries. The inclusion connects the hotel with Virtuoso’s global network of travel advisors and their client base, opening up additional sales and engagement opportunities.

Vincent Gernigon, General Manager of Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, said the partnership reflects an alignment between the hotel’s service approach and Virtuoso’s advisor network. He noted that the collaboration will allow the property to engage more closely with international travel advisors and offer tailored experiences to their clients.

Virtuoso agencies collectively generate significant annual travel sales, making the network an important channel within the luxury travel segment. Through this association, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul gains access to a wide network of agencies across regions, including North and Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

The hotel will also become part of Virtuoso’s broader collection of hotels, cruise lines, airlines, and tour operators, and will participate in the network’s marketing platforms and industry events such as Virtuoso Travel Week.

Located in Seoul, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul offers access to key business and retail areas, including Jamsil and the Gangnam district. The property features 403 rooms and suites, as well as 160 serviced residences.

Dining is offered across five restaurants and bars, many of which overlook Seokchon Lake. The hotel’s setting allows guests to experience seasonal changes around the lake, from spring blossoms to winter light displays.

The hotel reflects Sofitel’s brand identity by combining French elements with local cultural influences. One example is the evening candle ritual, inspired by historical traditions in Paris, which is adapted at the property with local elements such as traditional Korean attire.
