Sayaji Hotels Launches The Forest Chapter in Gujarat

Expanding its presence in experiential hospitality, Sayaji Hotels has announced the launch of The Forest Chapter by Sayaji, Sasan Gir, a boutique retreat located close to Gujarat’s Gir National Park. The launch also marks the introduction of The Forest Chapter, a new sub-brand focused on nature-led stays across India’s scenic destinations.

Set amidst the landscape of Sasan Gir, the retreat is designed for travellers looking to spend time closer to nature through comfortable accommodation, local experiences, and quiet surroundings. The property also offers activities and experiences that encourage guests to explore the region’s biodiversity, culture, and outdoor environment.

The resort features 25 cottages and villas across categories, including Premium Cottages, Superior Cottages, and Suite Villas. The accommodation combines earthy interiors with modern comforts, creating a relaxed and peaceful setting for guests.

Dining at the property includes Ember & Leaf, a multi-cuisine restaurant inspired by regional ingredients and global cooking techniques. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop café experience with open-air seating. In addition, the property includes landscaped outdoor spaces suited for private gatherings, celebrations, and events.

Speaking about the launch, Rajendra Joshi, Associate General Manager, Sayaji Hotels, said, “With the introduction of The Forest Chapter, we are entering a new hospitality segment that focuses on meaningful travel experiences and a stronger connection with nature. Sasan Gir, with its wildlife and natural surroundings, was a natural choice for the first property under this brand.”

Manish Boghra, Managing Director, The Forest Chapter by Sayaji, Sasan Gir, added, “Our aim was to develop a retreat that reflects the character of the destination while offering a comfortable and immersive stay experience. Sasan Gir also remains accessible for safari experiences across different seasons, giving travellers an opportunity to experience the region throughout the year.”

The property is located within reach of Rajkot International Airport and Junagadh Railway Station, offering convenient connectivity for domestic travellers. With this launch, Sayaji Hotels continues to expand its hospitality portfolio with destination-focused retreats across natural landscapes in India.
