APPOINTMENT

Minor Hotels has appointed Erik Billgren as the General Manager of Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, effective September 2024. He will lead one of Sri Lanka’s most sought-after coastal retreats, bringing expertise in experiential luxury hospitality. Erik has previously held roles at several of Minor Hotels' fundamental Asian properties.

Billgren started working with Minor Hotels in 2021. With over a decade of experience in Vietnam, he became the General Manager of Anantara Mui Ne Resort, where he quickly established himself as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader. He was later promoted to Complex General Manager for Anantara and Avani Quy Nhon Resorts, where he oversaw operations for The Vietage by Anantara, one of Asia's top luxury railway experiences.
