APPOINTMENT
Hilton has announced the appointment of Ted Selogie as General Manager of New York Hilton Midtown.

In his new role, Ted will oversee all aspects of operations, elevating guest experience, team member engagement, and commercial performance at the Midtown Manhattan property.
Ted brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to the role. He has held senior leadership positions with renowned brands such as Marriott International and Accor. His career began as a barback at the former North Shore Hilton (now DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago – North Shore Conference Center).
Most recently, he was appointed as general manager of Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, under which the property earned a Forbes 5-Star Spa recognition and secured its ranking as the number one luxury hotel in Los Angeles on TripAdvisor.
His leadership is defined by a commitment to operational excellence, talent development, and delivering elevated guest experiences.
During his tenure at Accor, Ted served as regional vice president, overseeing a portfolio of Fairmont, Sofitel, and Swissôtel properties across New York City, Chicago, and California. Prior to this role, he was area general manager in the Chicago metropolitan area, where he managed 13 properties.
Outside work, Ted Selogie is an active community leader and philanthropist. He has served on numerous industry boards and committees, including the California, New Orleans, and Illinois Hotel & Lodging Associations, Visit California, and the Los Angeles Tourism Marketing District.
