MGallery Introduces V Villas Maldives at Mirihi Resort

MGallery Collection has announced the opening of V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection, an all-villa resort located on the private island of Mirihi in the South Ari Atoll of the Maldives.

Accessible via a 30-minute seaplane transfer from Malé, the resort offers a tranquil island setting surrounded by white-sand beaches and clear lagoons. The property features 42 villas, including four overwater villas with private pools. Each villa offers ocean views and personalised butler service.

Designed by Studio Gronda, the resort incorporates elements inspired by Maldivian culture and the surrounding marine environment. Architectural features include handcrafted latticework, locally inspired materials and decorative ceramics created by Maldivian artisans. A central design feature, the Coral Ceramic Wall, reflects the colours and textures of the island’s reef ecosystem.

Accommodation interiors combine natural materials, neutral colour palettes and open-plan layouts designed to connect guests with the surrounding landscape. The Mirihi Maa Suite includes expanded indoor and outdoor living areas, a private pool and direct lagoon access.

The resort’s dining programme focuses on local ingredients and regional flavours. Dhonvelli, the all-day dining venue, offers a menu centred on seafood and island-inspired cuisine. Muraka, the overwater restaurant, features dishes highlighting locally sourced produce and seafood. Guests can also enjoy drinks and light dining at the Akoya Sea Lounge, which overlooks the ocean.

Wellness facilities are centred around the Mirihi Spa, which offers treatments inspired by local traditions and natural ingredients. The spa menu includes body treatments, massages, meditation sessions, sound healing experiences and yoga programmes designed to support relaxation and wellbeing.

As part of the MGallery brand experience, the resort offers its signature ‘M Moment’ aboard the Mirihi Thari yacht. The experience includes a full-day excursion around Ari Atoll, where guests can explore marine environments through snorkelling and wildlife encounters while enjoying refreshments prepared on board.

The resort is also working with local organisation Mom’s Aid as part of MGallery’s community engagement initiatives, supporting programmes focused on women’s empowerment within local communities.

Room rates at V Villas Maldives at Mirihi start from USD 600 per night, while suite accommodation starts from USD 2,100 per night.
