ITC Hotels Expands in Uttar Pradesh with New Fortune Property in Lucknow

ITC Hotels Limited has signed a new agreement for a hotel in Lucknow under its Fortune Hotels brand, reinforcing its footprint in North India. With this addition, ITC Hotels now operates seven properties in Uttar Pradesh, with six more projects in various stages of development.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited, noted, “Lucknow combines historical charm with evolving infrastructure and a growing corporate landscape. These factors make it a relevant market for Fortune Hotels. We expect this hotel to contribute meaningfully to the region’s expanding tourism and hospitality sector.”

Indermohan Singh, Chairman of M/s CEM Hospitality, the hotel’s development partner, commented, “Lucknow’s emergence as a cultural and business destination guided our decision to invest in this project. Partnering with Fortune Hotels aligns with our goals, thanks to the brand’s market understanding and operational standards.”

The upcoming Fortune Select Lucknow will house 93 guest rooms along with a multi-cuisine restaurant, rooftop dining venue, and a bar. Guests will also have access to wellness amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and gym. The property will offer banquet spaces designed to accommodate various events.

Scheduled to open in 2026, the hotel aims to provide a balanced hospitality experience with an emphasis on service efficiency and local relevance. It adds to ITC Hotels’ growing portfolio in the state, aligning with the group’s expansion strategy in Tier-1 and Tier-2 urban centres across India.
