IndiGo Suspends Services to Six International Routes Until September

IndiGo International Network Adjusted Amid Capacity Review
IndiGo has announced temporary changes to a section of its international network, suspending operations to six destinations between July and September 2026 as part of a capacity and network review.
The airline will temporarily suspend flights to Langkawi, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong and Shanghai from 1 July 2026. Services to Siem Reap will be suspended from 3 July 2026. The adjustments are expected to remain in place until 30 September 2026.
According to the airline, the decision has been made in response to softer seasonal demand in the upcoming quarter, elevated operating costs, and ongoing airspace restrictions affecting international operations.

IndiGo stated that bookings for all affected routes will reopen from 1 October 2026. However, the airline said it remains prepared to restore services earlier if market conditions improve and operational circumstances allow.
Despite the temporary suspensions, IndiGo will continue operating more than 1,800 international flights each week across its network. The airline said the adjustments are intended to align available capacity with current demand patterns while maintaining operational reliability across other international destinations.
The carrier added that it will continue monitoring market conditions and operational factors before making further network decisions.
To minimize disruption, IndiGo will communicate directly with affected passengers about their travel plans and available options. Customers are also advised to check the latest flight schedules and travel updates before commencing their journeys.
The temporary changes form part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to manage network capacity while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing market conditions.
