IndiGo and Adani Airports Introduce BluChips Rewards for Duty-Free Shopping

Partnership allows travellers to earn loyalty points on duty-free purchases at Adani-managed airports

IndiGo and Adani Airport Holdings Limited have announced a partnership that allows IndiGo BluChip members to earn loyalty points on duty-free purchases at airports managed by AAHL.

Under the arrangement, travellers can earn 5 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on pre-booked duty-free products on the Adani platform. Passengers can browse, reserve and pay for products online before departure and collect their purchases at the airport.

Neetan Chopra

Neetan Chopra said the collaboration aims to extend the benefits of the airline’s loyalty programme beyond flights. According to Chopra, the partnership combines IndiGo’s network with Adani’s airport retail platform to offer passengers additional ways to earn rewards during their travel journey.

Suchit Bansal noted that the initiative focuses on integrating digital browsing, pre-order options and in-airport collection to simplify duty-free shopping. The partnership brings together the airline’s passenger base and the airport operator’s retail infrastructure.

Travellers can access the service via a dedicated portal, link their IndiGo BluChip membership ID, and receive loyalty points within 24 to 48 hours after completing a purchase.

The programme currently features duty-free stores at airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangaluru, and Lucknow. Plans are underway to include Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport. IndiGo offers over 2,000 flights daily, linking over 140 destinations globally, with more than 95 within India and over 40 internationally.

Adani Airport Holdings manages eight airports across India, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram, as well as Navi Mumbai International Airport, which began commercial operations on 25 December 2025.

The partnership is part of a wider effort by both companies to expand digital services and offer passengers a more integrated travel and airport experience.
