Hyatt and Brigade Group Sign Agreements for Chennai and Bengaluru Projects
Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR and Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli Planned in India
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the signing of management agreements with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited and BCV Developers Private Limited, both part of Brigade Group, for two new hospitality developments in India.
The projects include Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR and Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, reflecting continued activity in key urban and leisure markets.
Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR Planned for 2029 Opening
Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited has signed a management agreement with Hyatt for Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, a beachfront hotel located along the East Coast Road in Chennai.
Scheduled to open in 2029, the hotel is expected to feature around 200 guest rooms, multiple dining venues, wellness facilities, and event spaces. The property is designed to accommodate both leisure and business travellers, including meetings, events and social gatherings.
Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited, said the project marks the company’s first collaboration with Hyatt and reflects its focus on expanding hospitality developments in Chennai.
Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli Set for 2027

BCV Developers Private Limited has signed a separate agreement for Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, a greenfield development located near Kempegowda International Airport.
Planned to open in 2027, the property will offer 135 serviced apartments designed for both extended stays and short visits. Facilities are expected to include an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre.
The development is positioned to serve the growing Devanahalli area, which includes upcoming IT parks, the Aerospace Science Park and the planned Financial City.
Expansion in Key Urban Markets
Dhruva Rathore, Vice President of Development, India and Southwest Asia at Hyatt, said the agreements align with the company’s plans to expand its presence in cities such as Chennai and Bengaluru, where demand for hospitality services continues across business and leisure segments.
