Introducing Six Senses Italian Collection

Six Senses has embarked on an exciting new chapter in its Italian career by signing hotel management agreements with Gruppo Statuto. Following the announcement of the impending Six Senses Antognolla in Umbria and the debut inauguration of Six Senses Rome in 2023 in the renovated Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini, there will be Six Senses Milan and Six Senses Lake Como. Nearly 100 open hotels in Europe are currently part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' rapidly expanding Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, which includes eight Six Senses locations in Italy, Switzerland, France, Israel, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey.

Situated in the heart of the artistic Brera neighbourhood, Six Senses Milan boasts a fantastic location on Via Brera 19, symbolizing authentic Milanese history and culture. Six Senses Lake Como will continue the tradition of being the first hospitality establishment to open on the shores of Lake Como in Cadenabbia di Griante in 1820. This region's dazzling coasts have drawn writers, emperors, monarchs, and celebrities due to its abundant natural beauty, art, and history.

Six Senses Milan

The Pinacoteca Museum's treasures and the galleries lining Via Brera provide a respite from Milan's fast-paced beats. With its discreet location in this artistic district, Six Senses Milan is ideally situated to transport visitors on an evocative voyage through exquisite craftsmanship and classic design elements, such as the arabescato marble, antique brass accents, artisanal smoked glass, textured ceilings, and mosaic borders.

Six Senses Milan also demonstrates the brand's strong dedication to sustainability, as shown in the furnishings and materials used, the Earth Lab's prominent location, the peaceful interior courtyard, and the speciality restaurant and deli that serves seasonal food. There are 68 guest rooms, two suites and 15 suites with plunge pools. Six Senses Lake Como

Lake Como has long been known as a beautiful leisure resort with a storied past and glittering present. It was once a popular getaway for the Milanese, an inspiration for romantics Wordsworth, Shelley, and Byron, and a vacation destination for Queen Victoria and Hollywood legends. Six Senses Lake Como will combine a resort lifestyle with the area's rich tradition to create a unique getaway amidst stunning gardens, where rare plants and revitalized guests will grow on the lake's beaches. This comes after the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia on the western sides of the lake underwent a complete restoration.

The six-story property will significantly reduce the number of guest rooms to accommodate 102 generously sized rooms and suites and more space dedicated to the spa and wellness area. A floating pool on the lake will complement the outdoor pool and sun deck. Along with the speciality restaurant, the terrace bar and restaurant with quintessential lake views on the fourth floor will no doubt continue to inspire poetry, prose, and proposals.

IHG more than doubled its Luxury & Lifestyle offering in Italy in 2023, which also saw the return of the InterContinental brand with the opening of InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace. Six Senses Milan and Six Senses Lake Como join 30 open hotels in the country and an additional eight in development, including brand debuts for the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Vignette Collection brands. Six Senses Milan is set to open in 2025, and Six Senses Lake Como in 2028.
