The agreement reflects growing demand for branded accommodation in India, supported by domestic travel and the expansion of middle-income travellers. It also builds on Hilton’s approach of working with local operators to scale its network in the country.

Alan Watts, President, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said the partnership supports the company’s plans to grow its footprint in India by combining global brand standards with local operational expertise.

Strategic agreements of this nature form part of Hilton’s development strategy in India, enabling multiple projects to be rolled out under a single framework. This marks the company’s third such partnership in the country.

Christian Charnaux, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Hilton, noted that India remains an important market for long-term development, supported by rising travel demand and evolving hospitality infrastructure.

Royal Orchid Hotels will play a key role in the development and operation of the properties.
