Fairmont Hotels & Resorts presents a diverse collection of golf destinations that combine championship-level design with striking natural surroundings. From the Canadian Rockies and California coastlines to the cultural landscapes of Mexico and Europe, each course reflects its environment and is complemented by Fairmont’s signature hospitality.

Canada

Fairmont Banff Springs and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta are consistently ranked among Canada’s best public courses. Banff’s 27-hole course includes the renowned Stanley Thompson 18, with the celebrated Hole #4 “Devil’s Cauldron,” while the 9-hole Tunnel Mountain course offers a shorter but equally scenic option. Jasper Park Lodge is marking the centennial of its Stanley Thompson-designed course with enhancements including restored greens, updated bunkers, and improved sightlines.
In Québec, Fairmont Le Château Montebello offers a forested retreat with an 18-hole course designed by Stanley Thompson. Guests can book the Ultimate Golf Getaway Package, which includes unlimited play, breakfast, and a stay in the historic log cabin. On the west coast, Fairmont Chateau Whistler features a par-72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., combining alpine scenery with challenging play. The property also hosts Canada’s only Leadbetter Golf Academy for advanced instruction.
United States

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa provides exclusive access to the private Sonoma Golf Club, a heritage course designed in 1928. In Southern California, The Grand Golf Club at Fairmont Grand Del Mar is home to San Diego’s only Tom Fazio-designed course, with 18 holes set within a 400-acre coastal canyon preserve. Golf-focused packages pair access to the course with accommodations and resort amenities.
Mexico

Fairmont Mayakoba in Riviera Maya features El Camaleón, an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed course certified by Audubon International. The course incorporates jungle, mangroves, and beachfront and has hosted PGA Tour, LIV Golf League, and LPGA events. The Tee Off in Paradise package includes accommodations, breakfast, and a round of golf.
Europe

Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel in Ireland, is home to two championship courses: The O’Meara, a parkland course through woodland and rivers, and The Montgomerie, an inland-links design. Packages include multi-day golf experiences with accommodations in the historic estate.
In Scotland, Fairmont St Andrews spans 520 acres overlooking the town of St Andrews. Its two courses, the Torrance and the Kittocks, showcase the coastal scenery of Fife, while curated packages include play on the legendary Old Course and nearby links.

On Spain’s southern coast, Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol offers two 18-hole courses, Links and Heathland, set against views of the Mediterranean. The recently opened resort combines modern design with Andalusian character, creating an appealing setting for play and leisure.
Today, Fairmont’s global portfolio includes 19 golf courses, each designed to connect players with the landscape while offering opportunities for memorable travel experiences.
