Courtyard by Marriott Madurai has announced the appointment of Chef Suresh Krishnaswamy as its new Executive Sous Chef.

Chef Suresh Krishnaswamy has been appointed as the new Executive Sous Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Madurai, further strengthening the hotel’s culinary leadership team.
Chef Suresh brings over three decades of culinary experience having worked across leading hotels including The Leela Palace Kempinski, Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, GRT Grand, Accord Metropolitan, and Holiday Inn Salem.
A specialist in South Indian cuisine, Chef Suresh has led renowned showcases such as Chettinad, Kongunadu, Nagercoil, Kerala, Coorg, Mangalorean, Seafood and Tri-Golden Food Festivals, along with an international culinary representation at the Indian Food Festival in Busan, South Korea.
He holds extensive expertise in driving food cost efficiencies, maintaining HACCP and FSSAI standards, executing large-scale themed gala dinners, celebrity catering, TNPL outdoor events, and high-volume festive productions.
Commenting on his appointment, Chef Suresh, said, “For me, food is emotion and responsibility. I am excited to bring the richness of regional Indian flavours to Madurai and create experiences that are honest, soulful, and unforgettable.”
