Delta Air Lines has announced temporary suspensions and schedule adjustments at several East Coast airports as Winter Storm Hernando moves through the region.

The airline expects to suspend operations at its hubs at LaGuardia Airport (LGA), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) through Tuesday, 24 February, due to forecasted extreme winter weather. Broader disruptions are also anticipated across the East Coast as the storm progresses.
Customers travelling to, from or through affected airports are being encouraged to adjust their travel plans. The airline is offering flexibility, including a fare-difference waiver for travel impacted through 25 February, provided tickets are rebooked by 28 February.
Delta stated that it is proactively notifying customers of cancellations and is automatically rebooking affected passengers on the next available itinerary. Travellers can review and modify their bookings via the Delta app or the airline’s website.
The airline noted that operational decisions are being made in response to evolving weather forecasts, with schedule adjustments implemented to address safety considerations during the storm period.
