Delta Air Lines has been ranked among the world’s top employers in Forbes’ ninth annual list of the World’s Best Employers 2025, securing the No. 2 position among 900 global companies — a four-place rise from last year.
Forbes highlighted Delta’s continued efforts to build an inclusive and responsive workplace culture, particularly through its open communication channels and employee engagement initiatives. The airline’s “open-door policy” allows employees to communicate directly with leaders via email or in person, while senior leaders regularly visit corporate markets to share business updates and gather feedback from staff.
Employee input has informed several key initiatives, including the Emergency Savings Program, launched in 2023, which now has more than 40,000 participants. Delta has also introduced more flexible travel privileges for employees, including options for an additional travel companion, in response to employee feedback.
Earlier this year, Forbes also recognized Delta among the Top Employers in the United States, ranking the airline No. 1 in Georgia, Michigan, and Utah.
The Forbes World’s Best Employers 2025 list was compiled in collaboration with market research firm Statista, based on surveys of more than 300,000 employees across 50 countries. Participants rated companies on criteria such as salary, talent development, and remote work options, and shared whether they would recommend their employer to others.
Delta’s consistent placement on both U.S. and global rankings reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering employee engagement and maintaining a positive workplace culture across its global operations.
