Delta Air Lines Announces New Partnership with Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll

Delta Air Lines has partnered with Crunchyroll, the anime streaming platform, to bring a vibrant new entertainment experience to its passengers. Through this collaboration, SkyMiles Members can log in to Delta Sync Wi-Fi and enjoy free, 24-hour access to Crunchyroll’s expansive anime library—no payment required. All Delta customers can also discover popular anime titles on seatback screens across the fleet.

Starting this month, specially curated anime content from Crunchyroll is being introduced on Delta’s 165,000+ seatback screens and through the Delta Sync Wi-Fi experience, now available on more than 940 aircraft.

Featured titles include Black Clover, My Roommate is a Cat, Horimiya, Fruits Basket, and Solo Leveling.

This partnership also celebrates the growing global influence of anime. With over 17 million paid subscribers worldwide, Crunchyroll represents a cultural movement that resonates with younger generations—nearly half of Gen Z fans identify anime as a meaningful part of who they are.

Sarah Downs

“Every Delta flight is an opportunity to discover something new,” said Sarah Downs, Managing Director of In-Flight Entertainment Engagement & Optimization at Delta. “The world of anime is rich with storytelling and emotion, and Crunchyroll brings that to life in a way that’s perfect for travel. This partnership is a meaningful part of our ongoing commitment to delivering industry-leading entertainment that’s as dynamic and diverse as the customers we serve.

Rahul Purini

“There is nothing better on a long flight than immersing yourself in the rich storytelling and world-building of anime. Fans can go deep on one series or sample one episode of many series – from action to adventure, romance and more. And when they get hooked they can continue their experience on the Crunchyroll app,” said Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll. “We are excited to share what we love with Delta customers and go to new heights together.”
