Air France Expands In-Flight Entertainment with Apple TV Content

Air France has partnered with Apple TV to expand its in-flight entertainment offering on long-haul flights. From January, passengers can access more than 45 hours of Apple TV original content directly through the airline’s seatback screens, with the service also available via Air France’s new high-speed Wi-Fi portal, which is being progressively rolled out across the fleet.

On long-haul routes, travellers now have access to a curated selection of Apple TV programmes, including internationally recognised series such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Severance, alongside titles reflecting French culture such as Carême. The catalogue also features documentaries including Prehistoric Planet and The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy, as well as children’s content such as WondLa and The Snoopy Show. The first three episodes of each series are available via a dedicated channel within the in-flight entertainment system, accessible in French and English with subtitles and accessibility options. The content selection will be refreshed every two months.

In addition, Air France is offering passengers one week of complimentary access to Apple TV via its high-speed Wi-Fi portal, allowing travellers to watch content on their personal devices during the journey and continue viewing after their flight. This onboard experience is expected to evolve further with additional customised content developed jointly by Air France and Apple TV.

The airline continues to invest in its broader in-flight entertainment platform. On long-haul flights, passengers have access to more than 1,500 hours of on-demand content via high-definition screens, including 4K displays in the latest cabins, Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones, and an upgraded touch-sensitive interface available in 12 languages.

Around 30% of the entertainment selection is dedicated to French productions, alongside more than 310 films, series, documentaries, music, podcasts and children’s programmes. Additional features include wellness content, destination guides, an interactive flight map and onboard camera views during take-off and landing.
