AAHOA Names New Chairman for 2026-2027 Term

Rahul Patel Named Chairman of AAHOA for 2026–2027 Term

Rahul Patel has been appointed as the 36th chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association for the 2026–2027 term. He assumed the role at the conclusion of AAHOACON26, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

His theme for the term, “Strong Roots, Stronger AAHOA,” outlines a focus on strengthening member engagement and reinforcing the association’s foundation. Key priorities include supporting member profitability, addressing insurance-related challenges, expanding educational initiatives, and advocating for balanced franchise relationships.

Rahul Patel was elected secretary in 2023, marking the beginning of his leadership progression within the association.

At the same event, AAHOA also announced its board of directors for the 2026–2027 term, including the appointment of Dhiren Masters as Secretary. Masters brings nine years of leadership experience within AAHOA, including six years on the board of directors, and has previously served as North Texas Regional Director. His experience also includes involvement with the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association and several AAHOA committees.

Additionally, 11 members were elected to the board of directors across various regional and leadership roles, alongside three industry partners representing organizations such as JPMorgan Chase & Co., Anand Systems Inc., and Gauthier Murphy & Houghtaling LLC.
