Six Senses AMAALA Welcomes Guests on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Coast
Six Senses has opened Six Senses AMAALA, its second property in Saudi Arabia, following the launch of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea. Located along the Red Sea coast, the new resort is set between desert landscapes, beaches and a mangrove lagoon within the AMAALA destination.
Designed around wellness, sustainability and local culture, the resort offers guests access to nature while supporting AMAALA’s vision for responsible tourism.
Accommodation
The resort features:

Inspired by traditional Saudi coastal architecture, the accommodation has been designed for couples, families and groups, blending contemporary comfort with local design influences.

Additional experiences include a coffee roastery, an artisan bakery, and a cooking school that highlight regional flavours.
Sustainability and Nature
The resort forms part of a destination powered entirely by renewable energy and has been designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
The resort sits beside a mangrove lagoon that supports local marine ecosystems. Guests can also take part in environmental activities through the Earth Lab and the Junior Mangrove Ecologist programme, while snorkelling, diving and desert excursions offer opportunities to explore the surrounding landscape.
Expanding Six Senses in Saudi Arabia

Neil Palmer, Chief Operating Officer of Six Senses, said the opening represents the brand’s second destination in Saudi Arabia and reflects its approach to combining hospitality, wellbeing and environmental responsibility.

Bryce Seator, General Manager of Six Senses AMAALA, added that the resort has been developed to provide guests with a wellness-focused experience while showcasing Saudi hospitality and the natural environment of the Red Sea coast.
Located approximately 45 minutes from AlWajh International Airport and accessible via Red Sea International Airport, the resort expands the brand’s presence in the Kingdom and adds another destination to its regional portfolio.
