voco Amritsar by IHG Appoints Sumit Kumar as Executive Chef

voco Amritsar has announced the appointment of Sumit Kumar as Executive Chef. In his new role, he will lead culinary strategy and oversee operations across restaurants, in-room dining, and banqueting.
Chef Sumit Kumar brings over 16 years of international culinary experience, with expertise in Italian and progressive Indian cuisine. Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading hospitality brands including ITC Hotels, Hyatt, Radisson Hotel Group, Marriott International, and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
His experience also includes international assignments in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, England, and Japan, where he has worked across diverse culinary environments and dining formats.
In his new position, Chef Sumit will be responsible for menu development, maintaining kitchen standards, training culinary teams, and enhancing guest dining experiences at the hotel.
