APPOINTMENT
Mansard Riyadh, a Radisson Collection Hotel, has announced the appointment of Hans Konings as the new General Manager.
Hans brings more than 25 years of international hospitality experience to the Saudi capital. He has been a part of Radisson Hotel Group since 2003, having held senior leadership roles for the past 15 years across multiple sectors.
In his most recent position as Senior Director of Operations at Jin Jiang Radisson Hotels in Shanghai, China, Hans led more than 45 properties, driving post-pandemic financial recovery, through revenue growth, gross operating profit and implementation of brand standards.
He also spearheaded the repositioning of Radisson Blu in Sochi, Russia, guiding its conversion into a Radisson Collection property
Hans has also been a part of Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, and built extensive experience across international markets such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Slovakia
In his new role as General Manager of Mansard Riyadh, Hans Konings will oversee all hotel operations, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Hans also been has been recognised with several industry accolades such as ‘Best General Manager in Russia’ by the International General Manager Awards and ‘Best Talent Developer’ within Radisson Hotel Group. Properties under his guidance have also been honoured with Green Key Environmental Certification and Blue Flag Certification for beach operations.
