To mark the milestone, a maritime ceremony, complete with a cannon shot, was held at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland, to celebrate the 19 months of hard work put in by thousands for the construction of the Star. This new ship will feature eight distinct neighbourhoods, each offering something unique for families and vacationers. From waterslides to a wide variety of dining options, including a neighbourhood specifically designed for young families, there’s something for everyone. Additionally, the cruise will include seven nights of island hopping, allowing passengers to visit idyllic destinations such as Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
