SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting Signs Effotel by Sayaji, Ranjangaon

SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting has announced its first branded hotel project in Ranjangaon through a partnership with the Sayaji Group. The property, to be branded as Effotel by Sayaji, Ranjangaon, will be the town’s first branded hotel and is scheduled to become operational by March 2028.

The development is located near the Ranjangaon MIDC, a major industrial zone, and approximately 50 kilometres from Pune Airport. The location is expected to primarily serve business travellers, executives, and corporate groups associated with the industrial corridor.

Commenting on the project, Sandeep Roy, Founder and CEO of SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting, noted that Ranjangaon represents an underserved market for organised hospitality and that the project is positioned to address corporate accommodation demand in the region.

The signing ceremony for the project took place on November 29, 2025, and was attended by representatives from Ranjangaon Hotel LLP, Sayaji Hotels LLP, and SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting. The partnership reflects SeaHorse’s advisory role in hotel brand selection, asset planning, and market positioning, while operational responsibilities will be handled by the Sayaji Group.

Effotel by Sayaji, Ranjangaon will be developed on a 36,000 sq ft site and is planned as a business-focused hotel. The proposed facilities include 50 rooms, comprising standard rooms and four suites, an all-day dining restaurant with seating for 80 guests, and a rooftop lounge bar with capacity for 130 guests.

The hotel will also feature meeting and event infrastructure, including a 3,000 sq ft banquet hall and a 500 sq ft conference room, aimed at supporting corporate meetings and social functions. Additional amenities are expected to include a gym and spa to cater to extended-stay and business travellers.

Once operational, the hotel is expected to serve the accommodation and meeting needs of companies operating within and around the Ranjangaon industrial belt, contributing to the area’s organised hospitality supply.

“Ranjangaon is a critical, underserved industrial corridor. Securing the town’s first branded hotel with Sayaji ensures this asset is perfectly positioned to capture premium corporate demand and achieve market leadership from day one.”
