Wyndham’s Strong Q2 Underscores Growth

In a move to support Ayodhya’s growing hospitality sector, Wyndham Hotels has announced the upcoming launch of Ramada by Wyndham Ayodhya Faizabad, a 70-room hotel scheduled to open in July 2026. The project is being developed in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading hotel franchising companies globally.

Ramada by Wyndham

The hotel will be located in the Faizabad Industrial Area along NH 28 and aims to serve a diverse group of travelers, including religious pilgrims, domestic tourists, and business visitors to Ayodhya. Key features of the property will include guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting facilities, a fitness center, and other standard amenities aligned with the Ramada by Wyndham brand.

Mr. Sonu Sonkar, Owner of the upcoming hotel, stated:

“It is an opportunity to introduce the Ramada brand to Ayodhya, a city seeing increased interest due to its cultural and religious relevance. This collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is part of our goal to offer reliable accommodation options that complement Ayodhya’s development.”

Mr. Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, added:

“Ayodhya continues to attract a growing number of visitors for spiritual and leisure reasons. Working with Mr. Sonkar on this hotel supports our broader focus on locations with cultural significance. We’re pleased to bring the Ramada experience to a wider audience in this area.”

This signing represents Wyndham’s third hotel in the Ayodhya region and reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding its presence in India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities, particularly those with demand for religious and heritage tourism.
