Poornima Kamath Appointed as New Head of People & Culture, APAC at Amadeus

APPOINTMENT

Amadeus has announced the appointment of Poornima Kamath as the new Head of People & Culture, APAC.

Poornima is bringing with her over 20 years of extensive HR leadership experience across global organizations.

Prior to this appointment, she was Head of People and Culture at Fi for three years, where she drove strategic HR initiatives and culture-building programs.

At Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, she held key leadership positions including Head of Sales and Commercial HR, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and National Head-HR for Corporate & Services, playing a key role in driving organizational transformation and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts.

Her 12+ years at Microsoft spanned roles in Research India, APAC Services, and Services Global Delivery, where she implemented innovative performance models.

She began her career with Mysis Healthcare, building her foundation in HR operations, payroll, induction, and training.

Over the years, Poornima has developed expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability development, and cultural transformation.

Her experience spans multiple regions including India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Korea, the Middle East, South Africa, and Eastern Europe, giving her a strong global perspective in designing and executing people strategies.
