“Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur marks the brand’s 50th property globally and its first in Malaysia,” said David Udell, Group President, Asia Pacific, Hyatt.

“This opening contributes to Hyatt’s ongoing growth in Southeast Asia, with three hotels launching in Kuala Lumpur within the year.”

Guestrooms and Suites: Elevated Design in a City Setting

The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, designed to serve as private retreats. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic city views, while interiors include full bathrooms, walk-in dressing areas, and workspaces. Select suites offer dining areas that overlook the skyline.

Design Inspired by Local Craft

Designed by G.A. Group, the interiors draw on the aesthetics of traditional Malay Kampung houses. Features include brass screens etched with batik patterns, natural wood finishes, and woven textures influenced by Peranakan craft. A curated art collection by Artlink highlights both traditional and contemporary Malaysian art and design.

Guests can explore the Merdeka 118 precinct through guided experiences, including visits to Stadium Merdeka, Al-Sultan Abdullah Mosque, and Merdeka Textile Museum, adding cultural context to the location.

Culinary Concepts Rooted in Local Flavours

  • Merdeka Grill focuses on premium cuts, sustainable seafood, and seasonal ingredients, complemented by a curated beverage selection. Signature dishes include cedar-wood roasted salmon and Chateaubriand carved tableside.

  • Park Lounge offers heritage recipes and locally sourced ingredients. Its afternoon tea service includes pastries, Mille Feuille prepared tableside, and a dessert trolley with vegan and vegetarian selections.

  • Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, positioned as Kuala Lumpur’s first chocolate-focused bar, features themed cocktails, spirits, and handcrafted chocolate. Guests can participate in chocolate workshops and pastry kitchen tours led by the hotel’s pastry team.

Wellness and Leisure Facilities

Located on the 99th floor, the wellness centre offers a yoga studio, gym, private treatment suites, and a 30-meter infinity pool with skyline views. Wellness amenities include aromatherapy steam rooms, a Himalayan salt alcove, and circadian therapies aimed at supporting energy balance. Guests can also create custom bath salts using local ingredients.

Meetings and Event Spaces

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur includes several executive salons for events, each designed with natural light and equipped with modern technology. The spaces cater to private meetings, social functions, and weddings, with service and settings tailored to different types of gatherings.
