APPOINTMENT
Marriott International has announced a new appointment in the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region, with Michal Reschke taking on the role of Director of Development for the area.
This move backs Marriott International’s commitment to expand its footprint in these key markets.
Michal Reschke brings over 13 years of experience in hotel development, project feasibility, and strategic consulting. Prior to her appointment, she served as Director of Development & Project Feasibility at H World International / Steigenberger Hotels, overseeing development in the DACH and Benelux regions.
During her tenure, she led the international feasibility team and played a critical role in implementing growth initiatives.
Michal Reschke’s background includes roles at Der Touristik / Rewe Group, where she worked on joint ventures and large-scale hotel projects, and at Feuring Hotelconsulting, where she gained expertise in site analysis, brand strategy, and contract negotiations.
Her international experience also includes positions at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Marriott International sees significant expansion opportunities in the DACH region. Currently, Marriott’s portfolio in the DACH region includes over 160 hotels with more than 32,000 rooms across 20 brands.
Some of the represented brands are Moxy Hotels (38 hotels), Courtyard by Marriott (24), and Autograph Collection (19).
