Ilkin Imanov Appointed as Pre-Opening General Manager at JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent

APPOINTMENT

Ilkin Imanov has been appointed as General Manager of the upcoming JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

The seasoned hospitality professional brings over 20 years of extensive global hospitality experience, having held on-property and corporate leadership roles across Baku, Russia, Germany, Malaysia, Turkey, Greece, and most recently, Doha—where he served as the General Manager of The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa and Chairman of the Qatar Marriott Business Council.

He has been rewarded with many industry recognitions in his career, including “The Best General Manager Country Winner Qatar” at the 2024 World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Ilkin holds an MBA in Hospitality Management from Euclea Business School (France) and a Bachelor from Azerbaijan State Languages University. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijan, Turkish, and Russian languages.

Set to open in late 2025, JW Marriott Tashkent will offer 287 rooms and suites, signature dining, Spa, JW Garden, and state-of-the-art event spaces.
