This building had 35 floors and was completed in 1973, making it the tallest building in South Asia at that time. It surpassed its neighboring Express Towers which had a height of 105 meters (344 ft). It held the title of the tallest building in South Asia until 1980, when the Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers were constructed.

Architectural Discipline's award-winning design firm designed the Oberoi Residential Suites, which come in two variants: Bay View Residential Suites and Luxury Residential Suites, spanning 115 square meters and 87 square meters, respectively. Both suite categories include a master bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom, and a dressing area. Luxury Residential Suites also feature a private study area, while the Bay View Residential Suites offer an additional study room.
