Iconic Dusit Thani Bangkok Returns with a Fresh Look

Dusit Thani Bangkok, Dusit International's main hotel, has reopened after a major makeover as part of the upcoming Dusit Central Park project across from Lumpini Park in the city centre.

A special ceremony marked the opening on September 27, 2024. Mr Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee at Dusit International, was the first guest to check in. This gesture pays tribute to his mother's enduring legacy in launching the original hotel in 1970.

Guests from across the globe travelled to be among the first to experience the hotel’s Suites and Club Rooms. These rooms' expansive, cantilevered picture frame windows capture breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Lumpini Park, providing an unmatched accommodation experience in the city.

The recently renovated hotel has revealed its meeting and events area. In line with the magnificence of its previous version, the hotel features one of the largest ballrooms in Bangkok. The Napalai Grand Ballroom has an impressive eight-meter-high ceiling and a full-width, 55-meter-wide window that offers views of the park and cityscape.

The hotel has various dining options. The Pavilion serves Thai, Chinese, and international food, while Dusit Gourmet offers artisanal bites and international favourites. Four more dining concepts will open in the future, including collaborations with top chefs and a stylish rooftop bar next to the hotel’s iconic spire.

Devarana Wellness, an urban wellness sanctuary concept, will be launching soon. It is designed to provide customized wellness experiences for guests, visitors, and locals, ensuring that everyone has a chance to rejuvenate during their stay.

The new Dusit Thani Bangkok is the main feature of Dusit Central Park, a significant THB 46 billion mixed-use development. This development also includes ultra-luxury residences (Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside), an office tower, a retail centre, and an 11,200 sq m Roof Park. These additional components are expected to open gradually in 2025.
